The Earlyman is the brain-child of Ed Cavill, co-producer & guitarist of the seminal soul/ trip-hop outfit Spacek. Championed whilst in Spacek by Gilles Peterson - receiving heavy play on Radio 1 & initially spotted by Mos Def, Ed went on to be signed to Island Records. He is now sole producer of the project "The Earlyman"
